Our trip to San Antonio....

I just put the pic in because it's cute... this is Corbin playing rockband.
We went to Seaworld and we fed the dolphins. Our whole family got in for free with the military special!! Can't beat that!

Cassidy, Carter and Eliza feeding the sea lions

Tyler, Cassidy, Carter and Corbin in front of the sea lions

This is why we do it.... this is Cassidy watching the Sesame Street show... look at that smile!!

We were on the front row... this is what happens when you go to Sea World in San Antonio when the temp is 55 outside... it was DEAD!!

We got a babysitter and went to dinner at Benihana's. It was really fun, but Tepanyaki's food is SO much better!

We went to a playland and Terah was so cute playing with Corbin and Ava. Corbin loved little Ava.

Terah read the kids the bedtime story. My kids absolutely LOVE Terah! I couldn't ask for a better friend!
Our trip was really fun... short but fun! I miss her and can't wait to see her again! It was a long drive but it was totally worth it. I would do it again in a heart beat! I love you Terah! Thank you for letting us crash your house!

For Brittany...

Well, I had all but given up on blogging, but my friend Brittany has been nagging me to update my blog, so here it goes...
I love this time of year!! So much to reflect on and be thankful for! We have moved into our house and we love it!! Cassidy absolutely adores her new kindergarten teacher and has ran into the school building every day since she started without looking back. Which was a nice change from crying and hanging onto my leg when I would take her to preschool! We were able to find a good preschool for Carter and he has so much fun there! I love seeing my kids learn and grow! I can't believe some of the things that Cassidy is already learning! Today she told me all about the pilgrims and the Mayflower! I don't think I learned about that until 3rd grade! I can't believe the things these young minds can grasp!
Corbin had his first birthday on Oct 11th. I can't believe my little baby is 1 already! He is absolutely adorable and knows that he can get away with anything just by flashing his sweet smile! He has so much personality and I have had so much fun with him. Cassidy is an amazing help too. She absolutely loves to play with him and keeps on eye out for him at all times! I am so thankful to have such a sweet little girl to help me! Maybe that's why #3 has been the easiest baby!! Cassidy does most of the work!! lol

Speaking of Cassidy, she is about to turn 6 on Nov. 30th. I am blown away at what a beautiful, sweet, and caring little girl she is! I love her so much and have loved having her in my life over the past 6 years! I wouldn't trade her for the world!

And then there is Carter.... what can I say... he's a little boy (which means trouble) with a lot of heart (which means sweet). I don't know where I'd be without my kids!! Maybe a little more sane... and a lot skinnier!! But not near as happy... that's for sure!!

As for me... I am trying to get adjusted to Colorado. I was so excited to move away from Montana, that I didn't realize what it meant, exactly. Having to make all new friends, getting used to a whole new rhythm in a new house. I'm sure things will get better soon, I had just forgotten what it was like to start all over in a new place!

So, that is a nutshell of our lives the past few months! I know it's not much, but it's late, so forgive me!
And since it is Veterans day and all, I would like to give a shout out to all of the military men and women who serve this great country! It's hard to comprehend the difficulties of having a deployed spouse. Yes, I am a military wife, but my husband doesn't have to deploy (at least not yet and most likely he won't have to at all). There is a difference. There is only 1 person that I know personally that has had to deploy. So, I would like to extend a very respectful thank you to Korry. I really appreciate you and the courage it took for you to leave your beautiful, wonderful family to go and serve our country! You will be blessed for it and I know that your family is being watched over. I have seen how hard this had been for Brittany and I so wish I could be there to help her with anything at all. I can't imagine the difficult task of taking care of 3 very young children without having a husband around for 8 months... and not having any family around to help. You are an amazing family and I am so blessed to know you! Good luck and be safe over there!! We miss you and are looking forward to seeing you in February!
I will try to be better at posting!! Sorry for the random pics... I don't know how to get them where I want them!! LOL

I'm still here

Well, we still around... just without any of our personal things, so I have no pictures to post! We are currently staying with Tyler's parents in Colorado Springs until we close on our house in August. We are so excited about our house! We love it! We went to our new ward and I think we are really going to like it! There is a family that was in our ward in Montana that is in our new ward, so that was fun to see them! I was able to register Cassidy for kindergarten yesterday, so that was a little sad, but exciting at the same time. I can't believe she is going to start school! We really like the area here, but we will like it more when we have our own place! It's been about 2 months now since we've been without a home and it gets a little old! I think we will all be a little happier when we are settled! Anyone who wants to visit Colorado is more than welcome to stay with us! We love visitors!

More than I can chew...

So, we just got back from Disneyland on Saturday night. The trip was AWESOME!! We had so much fun and the kids won't stop talking about it... well that and going to Grandma's house. We were going to run some errands yesterday and Carter got so excited when we left the base and told Cassidy that we were going to Grandma's house. When I told him that we weren't, he responded with a loud and whiny "WHY???" Anyway, going on the trip left us with very little time to prepare for our move (not that I would trade a minute of it). So, on Sunday, we were busy getting the house ready for the movers to come tomorrow, and we still have so much to do. My whole body hurts, but I just have one day left and then it's out of my hands! We move into TLF tomorrow and we leave for good next Friday. It seemed like a lifetime to get to this point, but now that we are here, I can't believe how fast it came! haha Life is funny.

Time Flies...

I can't believe we only have 7 weeks left here in Montana! When we arrived here 4 1/2 years ago, with a 12 month old Cassidy, I never thought we would have been so lucky as to be acquainted with the wonderful people that we have met here. We have made a lot of friends and some that we KNOW will always be in our lives. I don't think I could have survived this tour in Great Falls without a good support group and I am particularly thankful for the friends that I have here and those that have moved on to other bases! You have all made a huge impact on our lives and we will remember our time here with all of you fondly (believe it or not!!). I won't miss the area, but I will miss the people! Thanks for the friendships and memories you have given us!

The big 3-0!!!

Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!! I thought turning 30 would depress me, but Friday came and went and I feel fine... phew! We didn't do too much! We went to Applebee's for lunch so I could get my beloved Oriental Chicken Wrap, but I should have figured Carter would be a stinker... it being nap time and all!! But it was still fun! Then we had our friends over for games and cake! It was a good time and Brittany gave me a gift card for a pedicure!! YAY!!! So, I get to have a fun spa day soon! I can't wait, I haven't had a decent paint job on my toe nails in a while!! Thanks Brittany! And thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes! It was a good day!

FINALLY.....

After MONTHS of waiting.. we finally found out that we will be getting orders for Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs. We have a Disneyland trip planned for the first part of May, so we might be outta here by then, if the orders get here soon enough. If not, we will come back from Cali, out-process and be gone by the end of May. I will miss my friends here in Montana, but I'm really excited to move on and be somewhere with endless activities! Plus, I can fly home for dirt cheap... and I get to fly really cheap to see my girlies down in Texas!! YIPPEE!!
